The company has tied up with a multinational for the purpose of Integrating Fingerprint and Palm Print live scanner with AFIS and latent print lifting and transmitting device from scene of crime. SecureMantra has integrated the live scanner with their AFIS. The Minutiae extraction, image processing, NIST conversion of the images scanned through the live scanner is processed by SecureMantra AFIS Live Scanner Module. The module also integrates the mugshots and biometrics data capturing into NIST files of live scanned slips. The module also allows printing of fingerprint slips in the prescribed format along with Mugshot (front, two profiles) and demographic data. |
SecureMantra has developed indigenous Palm Print Enrollment and Matching System called SecureMantra APIS (Automated Palm Print Identification System). This system is capable of enrolling both the palms as FIVE separate parts for each palm and then matching a palm print lifted from a scene of crime. |

| The algorithm is based on the same technology as SecureMantra AFIS benchmarked by NCRB, Ministry of Home Affairs, and tested at Orissa, Chhattisgarh and National Institute of Criminology and Forensics Sciences, New Delhi.The above company will also provide Facial Biometrics solution to SecureMantra – SecureMantra will then integrate this system in any application that would require Facial Biometrics like Passports, Air Vigilance System, Any other sophisticated access control system that would require Facial Biometrics |

Many European countries are looking for Iris or Retina in their passports. |
